Ok, I'm one of the not so anxious ppl who still have kept our Dell orders of the Radeon 8500 since 10/4. It now has been delayed until 12/19, which I doubt they'll send it by then. The reason why I kept the order was because I got it for really cheap, $203 Retail, and becuz the drivers arent top notch yet. I'm thinking about getting the OEM at Newegg.com instead, is there much of a difference between the two versions? Would you guys wait for the retail version from Dell? Thanks in advance!
 
Which Radeon? I would check for obvious differences like the DVI port for starters. If you don't need it, then who cares so long as the GPU is the same.
 
i think i saw a retail 8500 pass by the FS/FT forums for $200 shipped....

prices r coming down...do i would prolly cancel the dell order. just my $.02
