Okay so it's been awhile since I pimped my site out.. er.. I mean, asked for opinions on the site design. 😉

Antisource.com - Viruses, oh noes!!!!1

There it is. I'm not that great when it comes to graphical design, so I try to keep the graphics simple - the most complicated graphic I have is the logo, and that was developed over months of trial and error. I'm still working on customizing the skin for the integrated phpBB forum. I didn't realize it was going to such a pain in the butt to break away from their theme system.

In a past site review request (on another forum), one common complaint was that there wasn't enough images to breakup all the text. Someday I'll work on that... like I said, graphics aren't my specialty...

update:

Okay, so most people like the plain layout. I'll change the subject - how can I make my Forums better? What categories should I add?

It looks pretty good. I think the red banner area may be a bit large.

Also, you might want to try to find a different spot for the login fields, because it is not unlikely that people will type into the wrong field when trying to search, for example.

I also would use something other than "Account" for the username/logon id label.

Lastly, you are using fixed font sizes. I don't know if you anticipate anyone in your target audience being older or vision impaired, but being unable to resize the fonts on the page when i set my browser to larger/smaller in IE is something I try to avoid.

But, it is quite a well-done site. Those are pretty minor nit-picks.
