No one is home in the video forum, so I'm asking here..

What does everyone think of the video cards with the SIS 315..specifically the 128 MB ones..

Never heard of it...the 256 bit part is intriguing but its slow, only 366 mpixels/second and one texture unit. Like a TNT2 or Voodoo3 or thereabouts

Go buy a used Radeon DDR or Geforce2 GTS in the ForSale Forum. More bang for the buck by far.

How much does it run for? Funny you should ask... I have a GF2Ultra FS :Q (quick little self-plug) ;)

They go for between 50 and 60 bucks. I think they are trying to compete against the mx400's and around there.

I'm not deciding on anything just yet..i know everyone has an nvidia or an ati chipset board, but this was a first for me coming across anything except the kyrol. The kyrol did not have a t&l, so that ruled them out. Plus I know the sis 735 chipset(motherboard) is one of the fastest out there. I thought maybe they could duplicate it in the video cards. I saw one review on Tom's for this in the 32 MB.
