Need your help on .PPS files(EDIT: A Power Point presentation of different shots of the coverage)

A friend of mine sent me some kind (about what's been going on) of pic via e-mail. The extension is .PPS. It won't open for me. What type of program do I need to view it?

That's a PowerPoint Show.. You'll need MS PowerPoint.

Thank you. I installed it and WOW!!! It was a very nice presentation with different shots of the coverage. It even showed some of the people that were jumping/falling out of the WTC. If anyone wants it, PM me and I'll send it to you.
