Need your advice, which case is better for cooling

Hey guys..


Im minutes away from ordering a new case for my gaming pc. Im more concerned about cooling, rather than looks. Out of these 2 coolermaster cases, which one provides better cooling.

Praetorian -
2 80mm intake
1 80mm rear exhaust
1 80mm blowhole exhaust
(+ psu exhaust)

Wave Master -
2 80mm intake
1 80mm rear exhaust
(+psu exhaust)

They both look roughly similar inside so assuming you tried the same number of identical fans in each case I think theyd be about the same, but on numbers its the Praetorian. I dont have either case though so cant say any more than that observation.

If you're really not fussed on looks you should be able to find quality cases with at least as good cooling for cheaper, maybe with 92 or 120mm fan spaces aswell so you can have more air for less noise, Antec a good place to start looking.

Probably about the same ,but the Wave Master looks nicer.

I agree, get an Antec. The 1080AMG has lots of fans!

Go with an Antec 3700AMB or BQE, they look good and have 120mm intake/exhaust which is roughly equivalent to about 2.5 80mm fans at the same noise level (IMO). If you have to have one of those 2 cases, I guess the first would be slightly better though I doubt the usefulness of blowholes personally and the wavemaster looks pimp...

personally, I'd go with the pac. I have one myself, and it cools really well. I'm sure the wave performs similarly. I think the pac looks a little better as well. btw, check ebay for these cases. I picked up my pac with aergate fan controller for 85 shipped brand new .
