Hi,

I have used the search feature but could not quite find the answer to my question :)

Anyway, its time to retire my old Mitsubishi CRT monitor that has been serving me for almost 8 years now :)

I have done some research and basically are down to Dell Ultrasharp monitor 22" or 24".

I am thinking of either purchasing 2 x 22" or 1 x 24" since the price would come out to be similar.

I will be generally using this monitor for office work / web design / photo edit.

Any comments from you guys? Why yes or why not?
Any better monitor out there that you would recommend?

TIA

For your applications, I would recommend the 2 22" monitors. The extra real estate is worth it for anything work related in my opinion.

There is not a single 22" S-IPS panel available today. They are all TN panels. Choose 20" or 24". If going with dell the 2007WFP may work out to an S-IPS as not all of them where. Honestly you should consider a used 2005FPW off of ebay until everthing settles down in the LCD market unless you really want 24" then you will need to buy new I suppose.

Thanks for all the replies.

I think I will settle with a single 24" for now :) I am not even going for the S-IPS panel from Dell, but will just get a TN panel (hopefully from CC on BF).

So when the LCD market settles down, and price of S-IPS 24" is around $400, then I will upgrade :)
