It's utterly ridiculous that we can't manage to give out the medals BEFORE the recipient decide to die. There were quite a few people that were extremely courageous in the face of 9/11. Are they going to get a medal?

Although I don't see the point in handing out awards after the fact, I'll sign it for the ones he's left behind.

If you guys look up his name using google a whole bunch of stuff comes up on him.

The reason why I stumbled on this is because I had just got done watching We Were Soldiers, and I desided to look up the battle that was in the movie. There were a lot of heros in the Vietnam war...and it just piss's me off that they did not get the recognition they deserved.

This is the reason why any medal is given out posthumously.
