need XP filmstrip help

im using XP PRO. im assuming my problem has to do with regedit...when i open a folder and go to VIEW -> FILMSTRIP, the thumbnail shows up but when i click on it, the enlarged version doesnt show up. it happened to my thumbnail view also. when i chose VIEW -> THUMBNAILS none of the pics showed up, just the jpeg icon. but i searched online and found the registry string to fix my problem. for some reason the string was deleted from my registry. anybody know a fix to my filmstrip problem? i dont want to reformat over this small of a problem cause i have about 40gigs of stuff that i have no place to transfer to. anyhelp is appreciated thanx!

i knew the fix for thumbnail view and i fixed that. but i dont know how to fix filmstrip view. i searched online and could only find a solution to the thumbnail view.
