i am trying to divide the document into 4 parts, so 2 on top and 2 on bottom and after printing i'll cut them out. anybody know how to do this. i also need to type in the 4 boxes too

You can do it with two columns and one cell tables. Here is what I did:

- Create a blank document.

- Table->Insert->Table... select 1 row and 1 column, click ok. You now have a one row table spanning the width of the document.

- Use The mouse to drag the table borders to make a square table that takes up a little less than half the printed width. Position the cursor on the line below the table.

- Click the columns button on the toolbar (it looks like two columns of text, you may have to add it to the toolbar), and select 2 columns.

- Click Insert->Break->Column break. Your cursor should now be positioned at the top of the right column, alongside your first table.

- Insert another table and do what we did to the first. Now you have two boxes next to each other.

- Simply add two more identical one cell/one row tables below the first two, and play with the layout until you get what you want.

Here, I dumped the blank doc I created onto my site, so you can download it:
