My boss is looking for a wireless hub that will work when our employees go to Italy, Germany and a few other European countries. Seems he needs 110-220V, and 50-60Hz capability. I'm usually good at web searches but am having a hard time with this one. When I look at Linksys for example they don't seem to indicate if their products can convert.

Thanks for help

You just need a different wallwart, or a voltage converter.... Google "voltage converter" and check the european websites of the vendors whose products meet your needs...

I relize that a voltage converter is one way to go but quite often you can find products w/ a converter built in. Our employees are already carrying so much stuff that having an external converter is just one more thing to break or lose. All of our laptops have built in converters and only need the adapter to adapt the plug for their european sockets...would prefer the hub to be the same.

Hhmmmm....

Your laptops don't actually have converters, your plug adapters just pick up one leg of the european voltage, work it against ground, rather than against the other leg that's 180 degrees out of phase. It's a cheat, but it works, and will work for your wireless hub, too...

Better to have the european wallwart, it would stepdown and rectify the 220v power directly to whatever dc voltage your equipment requires. Linksys tech support should be able to provide the part #, even hook you up with a vendor...
