Just moved into a new place and now that i've got everything setup, the mess of wires is a nightmare....

Any ideas on how to mangle that beast behind the desk?

What mess?

Its kinda hard to see, but look under the desk, it gets worse in the dark areas.....

You mean there's a mess in the spots we can't see it? Oh no. :Q

Seriously, if I had a camera I'd show you a mess. You're fine. Just get some cable ties and spend an hour or two cleaning it up. The velcro ones are nice.

is this another "yippee, look at me, i'm special, look at my two flat screens" if so here ya go:

:cookie:

looks fine.

I used to have some velcro ones, but i could never keep them right enough..... Would Zip ties do the trick?

Only if you get the right ones. 😉

No, they're absolutely the wrong thing for the job. The RF interference from the particular plastic they use can make your monitor explode.

Zip ties are fine, that's why you will probably always see a few hundred of them lying around data centers (and thousands in use).

Better pic of the wires

I like that 404 error. 😀

what 404 error?

It works now, I got a 404 earlier. If you need a screen shot, I can provide it. 😛

zip ties will clean that all up. Still not much of a mess though. 😉

Well i know what my damn 404 looks like, i meant what 404 in relation to the pic 😀

Yeah, just like others have said, that's not very bad. The rats nest behind my desk would shock even some ATOTers.
