Need WinXP harddrive help

something is messed up with my HDD's in winxp, if i set them on my ATA 100 controller, the secondary HD doesnt show up, but if i have it on my ATA66 controller, both show up and i can use both, so i bought PM7 figuring that i can see whats going on, and something corrupt is on my 2nd HDD, and I just have my MP3's and games on the HDD on partitions as well as Ext2 filesystem for mandrake linux. I have to resize my partitions to make more room for MP3's
is there someway I can delete everything on the HD and Fdisk the HD and start again??? Do i need a boot disk, if so, how do I make one from Winxp??? Also, i think a problem could be with amount of stuff sharing IRQ9 as I have my video card, soundcard, USB controller, HDD promise ata100 controler and ethernet card as well as MS ACPI!!! please help me!!

My system:
Asus A7V
Tbird 750@980
256mb crucial ram
40gb WD ata100 7200rpm HD (good drive)
13gb Maxtor ata66 5400 HD (the problem drive)
SoundBlaster Live value
Geforce 2 GTS

If you bough PM7, you don't need fdisk, or a WinXP boot disk. PM7 has an option to create boot disks, and you can edit the partition, format, etc, from there.

thanks for the info, i forgot about that, the problem i have is now the second drive says "Disk Geometery errors were detected on this drive" How the hell do you fix that???
