1. I have SP1 here to...how can i install this like right after installing Win2k like before I install drivers or anything? or is there a better way?

2. Can someone give me all the drivers and links I will need to make this sytem run without problems?

3. Where can I get a win2k bootdisk?

4. If my HD is in NFTS and the other drives on the network are Fat32 can I still see/share with them over our home network?

lot o questions- i would install the service pack and drivers asap after i got w2k put on it- for the mobo, of course put the drivers that came with the mobo, then maybe the latest via drivers, as far as the sound and vid cards, just have to get to their site...

don't know about the w2k boot disk- never looked into that- and yes, you will be able to see the other drives across your network, the only thing you have to worry about is having 2 drives on the same machine with a different file system.

Here is a site with a nice trick for making a win2k bootable disk with SP1 intergrated..

SP1

Inless your system is old you windows2000 cd will boot just like a floppy disc.

And yes you can see fat 32 drives with Win2k.

sp I can share files with Fat32 drives even though mine will be NFTS.....i will be LLF the HD will the Win2k CD have a partitioning/utility that makes it so i can use NFTS?

Enraged, if your other systems on the network are win9x they will not be able to share your ntfs drive. There is a company that makes software for win9x to read ntfs free download. But for win9x to write to ntfs it will cost you around $50. I don't remember how much for sure and I don't remember the nome of the company.

When you boot from the cd you will get an option to format the drive to ntfs before the moving of files begin.
