Errrm, you should be able to read the win95 floppy from win2k! Win2k supports all MS's file systems, it's Win95 that doesn't (so you couldn't read a NTFS disk in win95).
You will of cource need turbo tax installed on your laptop.
IIRC, floppys for PC are formatted in a universally readable format, regardless of OS. The only problems you'd run into is if you were trying to use Mac-formatted floppy's on PC (and there's software to get around that).
