Need Video Recording Device

I have one satellite tuner. Need something that I can hook up via Svid or composite and record current program. Nothing fancy.
I'd like to be able to watch this later on a PC or burn a DVD.

Would something like THIS be good for my purpose???
Am I really looking in the right direction?

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
