I sold my old Dell P2 400 to a friend, and he tried to install some newer video drivers. Dell's Nvidia TNT2 M64 is kind of proprietary, so I had to go install the Dell drivers. The problem we have is that the resolution will not change. There is a drop-down box and I select 256 or high, but it immediately reverts to 16, even after a reboot. The monitor is a Gateway CrystalScan 1024NI. He also tried 2 other know good monitors. Suggestions would be appreciated.
