Need video card suggestions for my A64 Rig

What are the best video cards for tommorows games? Is a 9800 variant good enough? I don't want to kill my budget but I want something decent. any input would be appreciated. thanks

The sweet spot right now seems to be the 6800 GT series. Most will overclock to Ultra levels.

Which one is it? Do you want to have something "decent" or do you want to be able to "rock Doom3" ?

If you are on a tight budget, get the 9800 Pro; if you want to rock Doom3, get a 6800GT.

I'm also looking for a video card to rock "all future games" ... I don't think we will ever find one

I just bought the frekain 97000 AIW last year and now its like old news. so I think I 'll look at that 6800GT as my next card. ATI drivers suck A$$ BTW...

if u plug for last gen cards......go ATI, shader performance kicks nvidias square in the teeth, if u want this gen then Nv or ATi...and you wont be disapointed

if u specifically want Doom 3 to run good.....go Nvida 6800GT
