Need video card advice now!! Please!

😕i'm buying a gtx 580 tomorrow. i'm getting either the asus gtx 580 matrix(1.5 GB) or msi gtx 580 lightning extreme(3 GB) . which one should i get? are there any cards other than the two i mension that would also be equally good or better?

btw i have a hafx so space and airflow is not an issue. i have room for three slots for the asus card.
i play at 1080p, and will later upgrade to a 2560x1600 monitor or 3 1080p monitors
pc specs:
i7 2600k
asus z68 v pro
wd 1tb hdd
noctua nh-d14 cooler 1x120mm & 1x 140mm fan
haf x 2x 200mm fan 1x 230mm fan 1x 140 mm fan

for 5760x1080 then you will certainly want that MSI 3gb model for sli.

If you're not going sli or tri-sli, the extra 1.5 gb of ram is unlikely to do any good at playable resolutions. What is the cost difference between the two cards? I'd lean towards the 1.5 gb card unless cost is nearly identical.

he said he is going to run up to 5760x1080 plus he already said he will be running sli.
