Need vertical laptop stand

Dealtarget

Senior member
I have been looking for a vertical laptop stand. I need the screen raised and room for a external keyboard. So far Google only turns up one (linked below) but I am sure there are more. Can anyone point me in the right direction? My laptop is a Dell 8600 15.4".

KOKUYO Laptop Stand @ SkyMall

Also has anyone used www.skymall.com before? There is no ResellerRating for them.

Thanks!

SkyMall is just a conduit for other places to sell things...kinda like Amazon's 3rd party sellers. You have seen skymall catalogs if you've ever flown on an airline....

I did notice "Tiger Direct" and I do not want to do business with them. I will keep looking for someone else selling the Kokuyo stand.

Or I could just make one of these.🙂

I will go look at Apple right now.

Thanks for the replys. Anyone else?

I think that Dell has one. I'm not sure if it's specifically for their notebooks or not. I believe they call it a "D-view" stand.

I found the D/View Stand @ Dell and it may work for me. Originally I was thinking more vertical then the D/View however after holding my laptop up almost vertical the screen may be raised TOO much. BTW I called and you can just get the stand (not port rep.) for only $49 from Dell.

The Apple iCurve looks cool but it is specifically designed for the PowerBook and I am afraid it would not work well on a Dell.

Well now I am moving away from the "Vertical" stand but I still would like more than a 45º angle.

Any other ideas?
