As the title says, I need a program that can convert a PowerPoint presentation to Flash. Something free/cheap is preferred, but something that works is the most important.

Thanks!

Ditto.

I'm anticipating spending about 100 hours or so creating powerpoint presentations for my math classes. I started uploading them to a web page, but discovered from some students that they don't have powerpoint, or have a much older version which causes them to display improperly.

Anyone know of a decent powerpoint to flash converter?

Thanks much!

(edit: I'm also going to link to an obvious choice for the students: have them download OpenOffice. I haven't checked yet to see if my presentations display properly in OpenOffice. If not, then I'd scrap that idea as well.

edit: for what it's worth, there are up to 50 or 60 custom transitions on each slide; they're not very basic powerpoint presentations. i.e. detailed explanation.

Microsoft does offer a free PowerPoint viewer for those that don't own a full version of PowerPoint.

Thanks tdawg... I should have remembered that. However 75% of the reason for the flash is simply because I placed a video on our school website and received a "omg! How did you get that to work??!" I'm trying bruceb's suggestion in just a few moments... That should promote me to godlike status (in case there was ever doubt) at work. :p Thanks Bruceb.

Hooray for resurrecting old (useful) threads. I downloaded the current version of bruceb's suggested software (now called iSpring) and it worked pretty well.
