Need urgent advice!!

I have a friend whos collegue has been looking through his phone book, and of all the luck, came across my number. He sent me a message 2 days ago with something like 'you want be friend'. Weird I thought, maybe it was some porn ad on the messaging system.

Then yesterday I met my friend and he told me about his friend. I told him I was relieved that it wasn't some sicko. I guess it was a mistake. Now the guy is sending me messages and wants to call me up.

I dont really feel like befriending the guy, and I told him 'No offense, but pls do not call me'. I have this thing against guys who try to befriend me, and then trap me into meeting them!! I mean, the guy has not even seen me in person!! How much of a loser can you get by trying to get the attention of a girl... of all things... through SMS????

What do you think I should say next time that he messages me? I don't want my friend to lose face in his work, and I'm not really sure whether this guy is his supervisor or collegue.

I know I'm developing a website back home, and I'm on broadband. No supervision + broadband = So, I guess its pretty easy for me to drop a few posts now and then

block the sending addie. Automatically delete.
when someone calls me whom I do not know I automatically hang up on them. when I am in my home I am AWAY from the world with my family. I do not have the time, energy, nor desire to deal with uninvited guests and I do not feel in the least bit bad about hanging up on them. I advise you to do the same. if you do not want this person's attention, be direct and tell them so. End of story.

Just ignore the guy. Who cares if it's your friend's boss or collegue. Your friend didn't promise to set ya'll up, so the guy is basically just stalking/harassing you.

Simply say to him, "You're some guy off of the internet, whether you're a friend of my friend or not, and I have no interest in meeting people as such."

If he doesn't get the idea that you DON'T want to meet him, simply add him to your ignore lists.
