I got $250. What to upgrade?
Fic-503+ 1.2a
AMD k6-2 400
Banshee
128 megs memory
AT case

I have plenty of HD drive space, cd and cd-r drive. I have no use of DVD. I am leaning towards a VC but not sure which one.
 
Well a vedeo card would be good but you would see no performance increase since your cpu is way too slow. Get a duron and mobo(or t-bird but by geting a duron you wil be able to save some $ to buy a video card later own the road)
 
Not sure if I can get an Athlon/MB/case for $250.

I read the K6 upgrade. Thats why I am leaning toward a VC.
 
Get a K6-3+ AND a new vid card.

Edit: with $250, that'll probably leave you with enough for another 128mb of memory too!

And give me that K6-2 😉
