Need ultraportable laptop under 2.5lbs. Help!

Will be traveling soon and was looking at the surface pro 3. Weighs 1.76lbs. Will be using Photoshop on it, but heard it is crappy experience. So would like a ultra portable with USB 3, 4-8GB of Ram and under $1000. The most important thing is weight. Possible? I did Google this, and found nothing helpful.
 
SP3 is the best option. Yoga 3 for a but more. I'd still go the SP3 route. Handwriting is extremely useful once you get the hang of it.
