Need Troubleshooting on my CDROM

Alright NASA we've got to get this CD running. I'm trying to install Peachtree at work, but the CD wont open Autorun and it takes a really long time in My computer to read the disc.

BIOS: check - SONY CD DVD Drive shows up as secondary IDE Master

Device manager: Check - !Something wierd Though It shows OM2100K DGX325I SCSI CdRom device. <----WHAT ? I dont have SCSI anything?

Also Device manager shows the Sony DVD RW AW-G170A looks

Tried removing and reinstalling the Drive to see if it would help. No Avail, the SCSI Is still there?

2x HDD
No raid or kinky crap.

If you have the device plugged into an addin card rather than a port run off the southbridge, it may well call it a scsi device.

What version of peachtree and what version of windows?
