Coming to the end of a cut, successful I think. Kept my 5RMs for the most part and have lost 17.5 pounds in about 2.5 months or so. Getting close to adding back the calories and upping the weights. ANYWAY...

I had ACL/Meniscus surgery in H.S. ... and the right knee is still not all the way back. To best describe where I have an issue, I merely have a link:

http://www.exrx.net/Muscles/Sartorius.html

This is still weak and almost flabby on my leg. I need help in isolating how to train this muscle to bring it up b/c I'm lost. Do I head to the seated abductor machine the oldies use?

Right now all I do for legs is Squats, GMs, Deads, and calf raises. Do I need to isolate the right leg more? This is starting to get my goat. I'm right leg dominant and my left leg is truly stronger.

Does the ACL/ Miniscus affect you when you do squats, gms and deadlifts? Thats the first question.

If you don't feel any pain/ issues then why the need to 'isolate' it?

I had a minor grade 2 tear of my miniscus and I had a limp for 3 weeks and took about 12 weeks to rehab back together. It takes 'ages' to get back to full strength where your 'completely' confident on it. I avoided 'turning' on that knee for months and months, probably the best part of 9months after my injury.
