If you race in the rain, I'd highly recommend Dunlop Star Specs. Maybe not quite as good dry as RS3's (while still a great dry tire), but incredible wet.

I don't like running in the rain but if I've already paid then I like to get my moneys worth. Since my wheels are all jacked up I'm probably going to end up with a summer set of star specs and a track setup of Z214 or V710. If it rains use the star specs if it's dry use the track only setup.

That stagger on a GTI is a bad idea. Do not do it.
