Need to write a (sarcastic) story and taking ideas

As the topic says. The characters/events need to represent today's society in some fashion. The more sarcastic, crude, and halarious the better. This is for a somewhat askew honors class.

Any ideas?

But is that the best ATOT has to offer?

Think of something along the lines of say... Walmart? I could write a story on say Walmart being a real person and taking over the world. Of course that story would be host to a handful of stereotypical characters. But, I don't think that's good enough. Anything better?
