Need to upgrade Radeon X300 se 128mb

title says it all, I have a Radeon X300 SE 128mb video card, I am a absolute hardware noob and need all the help I can receive. I'm looking to upgrade to a better card mid-good range, no real budget but if at all possible would prefer some generous soul to maybe give 3 options, ie. splurge card, good card, budget card. Thanks guys

p.s. I am a gamer, but my main game is World of Warcraft. Dunno if that makes any difference, thanks guys.

What kind of slot do you have? AGP or PCI-E?

For your gaming needs, I think the ATi HD 3850 (in both PCI-E and AGP flavors) with 512mb would be a good fit. They go for around $160-200.

Now, for the installation:

Boot up windows in safe mode (press one of the F# keys to interrupt startup)
Remove the drivers for your ATi X300 with driver cleaner or another program
Take out the old card and install the new one
Boot up windows and install new drivers from the internet.
