Hello,

I need to upgrade my PSU for my system. Currently I am running a AMD 550BE on 4 cores and OC to 3.5, a bfg 8800 GTS 512, 4 Gb's of 667 RAM, on a GA-MA790X-UD4P MB. I currently run a 430 Antec PSU, and by the calculators it is short on power (Most say I need 496W).

But I am planning on upgrading my RAM and my Vid card to a 4890. But For this I know I will need more power. I would like some thing that is efficient (80 plus), and from what I read modular(read ti helps air flow in cases to have good wire management).

So I have read several sites but I am looking for the advice of others who know more then I do. Because the more I read the less I understand. Please leave me any ideas on to the solution of the best PSU for my needs. I would like to keep it in the price range of $100 to $150 USD. If I can get a great deal on a non modular that would be great too. The bottom line is a want a good working PSU that will meet my needs, doesn't have to be the fanciest just the best for what I need over all.

Thank you for your time and effort and look forward to seeing your suggestions.
