Just picked up a Duron 700 and Epox 8kta2. Currently have three power supplies to choose from:

1. Deer 250 watts;
2. Component Pro 250 watts; and
3. Sparkle 235 watts.

Can I get by with one of these power supplies for this system with the following, one ata66 hard drive, one 48x cdrom, floppy, Elsa Gladiac Geforce 2 32 meg video card, Diamond MX300 sound card, 3com pci network card.

I would prefer to stick with one of my existing power supplies instead of having to get another one as cash is going to be a bit tight with Christmas expenses, car insurance and the other hot deals I have been picking up on this site.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Pick whichever 250w PS of those two is of higher quality. I would check with AMDs site to see if they recommend one of those 2. Sparkle is great but 235w will be too low.

i wouldn't go cheapie on a PSU- especially since it's one component you won't be upgrading anytime soon. try and pick up a sparkle or enemax PSU w/ at least 250. i wouldn't like the idea of a 235w in my rig.
