Yup: they are dual-channel so 2 more is what is needed. I believe you can also put in different densities (i.e. 2 more 128/256 instead of 64), and if you run different speeds (PC600 vs. PC800), they will all run at the lower speed.

yup: 16 bit. the 32 bit are/were relatively new, and are more the PC1066 variety, although they do make 16 bit PC1066 ones, it's what I'm running now.

ouch rambus that stuff is extremly expensive now. Installed some in a dell a few months back and it cost a fortune just to upgrade the system to 512megs
