Need to test HTML loading speed

Hi, this seemed like the place to ask this question. I'm looking for a simple way to test html speeds. Basically I need a javascript app or something of that sort that will send out a bunch of html pages and then find out how fast they're loaded. I know that i-Bench is availible but I want to use something that can be more customized. If anybody knows of an existing program, or a good place to look for one please let me know. Thanks a lot.
