need to sync files between 2 pc's on same network

someone I did some pc work for has 2 computers, his and the wifes. they have music folder on both but are always confused as to what is wher, I have them as mapped network drives even.

what can sync these folders? say every time a change is made(ideal) or on a set schedule.

It's been a while since I've worked with offline file synchronization in Windows, but if I remember correctly, you could right click on the music folder on the remote computer and pick "make available offline," or something. It should then copy the files to a local directory in the logged on user's profile. When you need to sync the files, you should be able to do so by picking "synchronize" in the tools menu of an Explorer window.

I need it to be simler than that. this is for a non-computer person
