i have core temp v94 and v95.

v94 does not give me any temp readings, gives me a warning window that some drivers did not load.

v95 gives me a cascading set of windows of same message with lots of beeps...

i have speedfan but i've heard something about 15C difference/inaccuracy?

is there anything else i can use to measure temps?
is there a way of making my core-temp to work?

btw, i am running vista ultimate 64 bit
i did follow instructions in readme about setting it to run as administrator.

thanks for help.

There are options in speedfan to set an offset, so you can correct for the 15c differance. Speefan reads the Tjunction as 85c, when its actualy 100c for the quad core, which is why it ready 15c low. I couldn't get core temp to work in Vista either, get the same errors as you.

oopsie... i have a QX6700 on a EVGA 680i A1 revision.

as for offsetting... is there a speedfan for dummies somewhere? as this is my first time actually using these programs, i am an extreme noob.

thanks!
