need to ship a stereo reciever question

I have the original box and all the padding. Is this sufficient enough for shipping or do I need to box it again? Normally I rebox everything but this thing is sort of awkward as it is.

thats what I figured but when my laptop showed up at my door packaged in one box it got me wondering if a stereo receiver would be ok. laptop came via ups also
