Need To Retrieve An Administrator's Password

I set up a small network (4 PC's) for a company. One new system has Win2K. Someone set up a password on that system and then left the company. Now they're trying to install some new software and are being asked for a password. Is there any way to retrieve it?

There are a few programs out there that will extract passwords for accounts, archived files, etc. You can Google search for them. I know there is a company that makes a number of programs to extract passwords from a number of file formats and sources, but the program isnt free.

do a search for NTAccess. Not free, but worth the money if you need it. It doesn't seem to me like you need it. I mean, if you have access to the machine, just copy your files somewhere, then reinstall Windows 2000. You an still retain the data and folders on the computer.
