need to restore a exchange mailbox from veritas

never really did this before, and doesn't seem like much info online. how it is set up now: veritas 9.1 set up to back up 4 exchange 2000 mail stores located on one mail server to tape. i need to restore 1 mailbox from a store to a temporary location, so i can retrieve some files from it. tried looking online for an answer, but besides restoring to a different mail server (which we don't have), or restoring back to the original box (which is a no no), there is no info i can find to restore a single mailbox to a different location. and there isn't enough room to restore a whole store somewhere on the server to retrieve a single mailbox. any help appreciated.
