So one of my tires was leaking pressure, and it turns out I had a banged up rim. I took it to a shop where they hammered out the dent, but they said I should still replace the rim.
My friend said I should just get a whole new set, or at the very least get a pair to make things even. He said getting just one new rim is a bad idea.
I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, so I've been looking on craigslist to see what I can find in terms of steelies. I currently have 175-70-13 wheels and a 4-100 bolt pattern, but apparently I can stray from that a little bit.
I've found two options right now, but each seems a little iffy.
Option 1

So these are miata steelies, 185-60-14. with snow tires mounted.
First off, would these fit? The dimensions don't seem that far off, and they have the same bolt pattern.
Second, could I use the snow tires for normal driving, or is that stupid?
Option 2

Civic steelies, but from a 99 model. I'm not sure what their size is, but a quick search indicates the stock wheels are 185-65-14. I assume a 4-100 bolt pattern.
Once again, would these fit?
Second, the tires are really worn....I'd need to get new tires as well, wouldn't I?
Option 3
Neither of the above options are worth it (if anything I'd guess due to a need to get new tires). In which case I should just keep my eyes open until something better comes along.
Additionally, the weather molding on the driver's side windshield is loose/partially broken off. Where should I look to find a replacement for that?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
