Need to reactivate Windows Vista after upgrading RAM + HD?

Hello,
I was wondering whether I need to reactivate my 64 bit copy of Windows Vista (Business) if I upgrade my RAM from 8GB to 16/32GB, along with an installation of an additional 1TB hard drive (Unchanged primary 500GB HDD + new 1TB HDD).

You shouldn't, but if you do it'll tell you. Then you just click the "reactivate over the internet" button and it's fine.

No there should not be any problems with that. If for some reason there is, the worst thing that can happen is that you need to call MS for registration. No big deal... 🙂

my experience is that CPU, GPU, and/or mobo change might trigger reactivation, not what you have changed

As long as the mobo chipset remains the same, you should not have a problem.
