I am not sure what this image is capable of.

I want to print this picture I shot in 2008. However I need to post process it.
Unfortunately I was still learning then and I shot it only in JPG, so I tried post process by increasing saturation.

I want you guys a chance to post process this picture for me. I want to make this a large print for my office and home.

Where should I also get this printed. I am liking the high saturation version of the picture but I dont know if I should go with the original.

Original image - 5.03mb

Reformulated Max Saturation Image - 6.50 mb

Please do not rip me off, this is my picture. I have not put a copyright on the picture yet. I am hoping no body rips me off on this.

This image is perfectly capable of being printed 16x20 or even 20x30. Simply use Photoshop's "image size" dialog to increase the image size 10-20% at a time until you reach the desired size for printing at 300 DPI.

For your particular picture, you need to resize it to 6000x9000 pixels for printing a 20x30 inch image at 300 DPI. You may need to add some sharpening after you enlarge the picture.

Alternatively, you can use On One's Genuine Fractals software to do the enlargement, which will give you slightly better results compared to using Photoshop's built in enlargement algorithms.

In either case, you should get good results. Remember that you won't be looking at a 20x30" image up close, but rather from a few feet away. As a result, small imperfections won't be noticeable.
