Need to make an FM antenna to pick up 89.1...suggestions?

Like any special type of wire to use, what length to make it, etc. A friend of mine has a shelf system but doesn't know where his FM antenna is.

make it 5ft, 3.75" long. (unless you've got a lot of extra room, then do 10ft 7.5") Doesn't really matter what kinda wire you use.

And string it up on an angle, and away from trees and buildings.

Bah, why'd you edit your post? I too would like to know how Tyler came up with those numbers, or if he's just pulling it out of his ass. Either is equally likely as far as I'm concerned.

BTW, according to that site it does matter how thick the conductor is, and is addressed in the K factor calculations.
