Hello,

I just got a XP-m 2600+, and the settings on this thing are 15x133.

My laptop, using the KN133 chipset, sees it as 15x100, or a XP-m 1800+.

The chipset is technically capable of running at 133, but the board will only boot at 100. There is no new BIOS available.

I'm wondering if there is any way to connect some of the l bridges together (L12 maybe?) to force boot at 133 to see if that works.

Since I have no experience at anything other than reconnecting the L1 bridges on a T-Bird, I'm looking to you guys to see if what I want to do is possible. I know how to fill in the bridges on this type of chip (like how to physically do it) but I can't find the answer to my question anywhere.

sorry, I should have mentioned no jumpers

I have an extra mobo for this laptop that I looked over for some kind of jumper or switch or even a soldering point that I could break and resolder, but no dice.

If I'm going to make this work, its going to have to be a change done to the processor. I'm just not sure if shorting the L12 bridges will accomplish what I want.
