Need to know where I can buy this dongle at...for tv tuner..help!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guys, I just posted about downloading the software for the tv tuner, but now I need the dongle that allows me to hookup through s-video.

http://www2.newegg.com/Product/ShowImag...rface%20TV/FM%20Tuner%20Card,%20REMOTE

In this picture here, there is a cable, that allows me to hookup composite, audio, and s-video into the connection on the tv tuner. Now on the tv tuner, it looks almost like s-video, but I didnt really see when I bought the thing OEM. Hence why I am here now asking if I can buy this at like radioshack or something, please let me know, I really dont want to buy from the manufactor. Thanks in advance!

*EDIT* If the pins on the end of the AIW breakout box look like the following link, then I suppose this will work?

If anyone could contact me via AIM, and talk some more, my handle is SIMWFD107

I think you need svideo to RCA adapter. I'm not sure what the black connector is. I think maybe svideo passthrough.

well its round like s-video, with 9 pin holes, but not a hole where that little black plastic nob goes on s-video connections

I don't think svideo.com is going to have what you need...

You might want to just e-mail Leadtek tech support and see if you can get one from them.

I was searching, jacka$$

I searched ebay, froogle, and leadtek's site for an accessories area and didn't find anything. I went back and edited to update my info instead of making another post = not just trying to boost my numbers.

EDIT: nevermind.

I'd be worried about getting something that was designed for another product. Even if it has the same number of pins, it's no garauntee that the signals are assigned to the same ones.

tin, these guys are just trying to help you. No need to snap at them... As for yo yo's last post, he is correct. Just because the number of pins match, doesn't mean the pinout is the same. You're best and probably only bet is to contact the manufacturer directly for this cable. That is the most sound and correct advice you will get, whether it's what you wanted to hear or not.

Tin, I'm confused about what you've got. To clarify, are you saying that you have an ATI TV tuner that doesn't have a SV input? If so, why are you asking about the ATI AIW breakout box (do you have one?)

Also, do you need the SV for input or output?

uhhh.... I'm pretty sure he has the product he linked to... which has nothing to do with ATI.

Tin10, when I read it, your link wasn't working and your original post is vague as hell.

(...try to help some people and get insulted for my trouble. Nice.)
