Need to know what plays DIVX movies on the computer?

I'm unfimilar in this. A friend of mine said he has a movie in DivX on his computer but doesn't know how to play it. Is there a special player or is it even possible?

the latest media player works fine for me as well.....3ivx is going to be released on the 15th as well, a new mpeg4 codec from a group of ppl alongside the inventor of thedivx codec....smaller files and better quality....should be great
