This is for a report i'm doing, I couldn't find much comparing different hard drives. I'm only interested in which ones use UDMA 100 and are about as fast as the IBM 75GXP. I think WD has one but I don't know what it's called. Thanks for the help.

The IBM 75GXP is the fastest IDE hard drive there is.

The Diamond Max Plus 45 is fairly fast...as is the Western Digital Caviar 400BB, but neither are as fast as the 75GXP.

try http://www.storagereview.com they have reviews of lots of hard drives, and you can use the database function (button at the top of the page) to compare any 6 drives you want.
