need to know the temp of an HP P3 system

does anyone know how i could go about getting the temp of a P3 proc that's in an HP 8655C desktop? it's freezing up like a mofo and i think it may be overheating....as far as i know the fans are working tho. there is no where in the bios that tells me the temp either
