Need to know the name of a song (rock)

I was bowling last night with my gf, and this song came on that I've heard before, but never knew who sings it. It's a newer song, and the only thing I can remember about it were the words "working together" or "working towards" or something to that effect (like in a relationship, working towards something). It's not really a high energy song, it's kinda moody actually....

I know it's very vague, but it's all I have to go on

Just try Google for this, it works very well. It helps a lot if you remember a phrase rather than a few stand-alone words. Also, type in the word "lyrics". For example:

"my girl wants to party all the time" lyrics
"it's my life" lyrics
"with arms wide open" lyrics

Yeah sorry I didn't respond, that wasn't it...

I don't expect anyone to get this, I wish I knew more about the song... I'll just have to wait till I hear it again I guess
