Need to know the difference btw these two Acer LCD's

Two pretty popular nicely priced Acer LCD's..going to get one for the bedroom for xbox and some TV.

Which one should I get? They are nearly identical. One has 800:1 contrast, one 700:1. One has speakers, one doesn't (not necessasry for me).

Any other differences I don't see?

The AL2223Wd has built in speakers and a better contrast ratio, $10 more.

I have the AL2216W and it's a great monitor for the price.

Looks like maybe the AL2223Wd isn't HDCP compliant.

Looks like you are correct, no HDCP support, odd considering the increase in price. I was also unable to locate that monitor on Acer's website, also kinda odd. I think with those circumstances I would go with the AL2216W
