Need to install Remote Desktop Web Connection, don't have CD handy

I'm following the steps here so that I can access my father's computer from college via IE, however I need to install the Remote Desktop Web Connection component of IIS but I left my XP Pro disc at school. Is there any way to install it without the disc? Or, if someone knows where this component is on the XP CD, could you send me it?

why not just use Remote VNC?

but installing "just the components" would be next to impossible...theres so many dll and ocx files that you may or may not have it be better to just let the CD do all the installthus either install with the disk, copy the disk, zip it, and make a directory on his comp with it, or use another package (like VNC 😉)

Would something like Remote VNC allow me to access his computer via IE? That is absolutely necessary, since most ports are blocked at my school (so I couldn't access his computer via 3389, for example).

not having to have the xp cd which seems to be your prob 😉 just trying to give ya a plan b

also in my experience vnc interface allows to do a few more things like let the person watch on screen what your doing via remote connection so you can show them things rather than remote desktop which completely takes over the machine.
