Get rid of it before the berries ripen. Birds eat them, then shit on the car. That's the good part. The bad part is it spreads more fucking pokeweed around the yard. The only thing I hate more than pokeweed is vines. They're tricky to pull out of the ground, but it can be done, especially after rain's softened the soil. They have a long taproot, and a delicate stem, so the stupid thing breaks before you get it out of the ground :^S
